The Rotary E-Club of Navotas held another successful gift-giving project at Tanong Integrated School in Malabon City. The activity was held in the school grounds and facilitated by teacher Sandra P. Tano.
Graced by our special guests from Rotary friendship exchange - Canada, the group was delighted to observe such fun-filled activity with the children, as 100 grade 1 students who are recipients of the project joined the event.
The prayer was led by Club Secretary Mary Ann Santiago, followed by welcome remarks from Mrs. Marie Karlene A. Abaigar
The guests, students and teachers who were present at the event were formally welcomed by President Herminio Ong in a succinct yet heartfelt speech.
Under the direction of Club Foundation Chair Gina Abadiano, the program began with engaging games that members, teachers, and students enjoyed.
Following the entertaining games, the members of Rotary E-Club of Navotas distributed the gifts (coloring books, crayons and snacks). The kids were greatful for the gifts they received.
