First Step To Know Jesus is a project that President Herminio Ong has been engaged for a long time. The objective of this project is to "Teach the children how to love as defined by God's word, in word and in deed".
On December 21, 2022, the Rotary E-Club of Navotas held their First Step To Know Jesus project at Block1 Purok 6 Hernandez St. Catmon, Malabon. Headed by President Herminio Ong, the group gathered 50 children from Catmon to provide them Christian Coloring Book and Gifts.
Everyone had a great time as activity the coincides with the Christmas season. The kids also turned it into a Christmas party event where they spent time playing games and getting presents.
The kids were happy and thankful to received coloring books, crayons, and snacks and gift prizes.
Join us as we do a lot of this again soon; it was a gratifying and enjoyable event that is just the beginning.
